Love, Manuela – App & E-book FAQ

Most frequently asked questions are answered here!

1. I bought the app but it won’t open / stays on the loading screen. What can I do?

This usually happens if the app is not allowed to download data during first launch.

Please delete the app, reinstall it, and make sure to allow all permissions when prompted. If the issue continues, contact us at support@lovemanuela.com with your device details.


2. I purchased the app on Android but switched to iPhone. Do I have to pay again?

Yes — unfortunately, purchases made through Google Play cannot be transferred to Apple App Store, and vice versa. Even if we wanted to help, Apple and Google systems are separate and don’t allow cross-platform transfers.

However, you can still use the app on your old device if it’s available.


3. I downloaded the e-book but can’t find it on my phone. Where did it go?

Downloaded e-books are usually stored in your phone’s Files or Downloads folder, not in the app itself.

  • On iPhone, open the Files app and check Downloads or Recents.

  • On Android, use the My Files app or similar.

If you still can’t find it, let us know your device type and we’ll guide you further.


4. I purchased the e-book but didn’t receive any email. What should I do?

Please check your spam or junk folder, as emails from Payhip (our e-book platform) can sometimes land there.

Also double-check which email address you used at checkout. If needed, we’re happy to resend the link to the correct email.


5. I entered the wrong email address at checkout. Can I still get my e-book?

Yes, no problem! Just contact us at support@lovemanuela.com with your full name and correct email address. We’ll update your order and resend your download link.


6. I have the app but didn’t see the discount for the e-book. Can I get a refund?

Discounts must be applied before completing your purchase. Unfortunately, we can’t adjust pricing afterward, as our e-books are sold via Payhip, an external platform we don’t control.

Please always check the “Latest from Manuela” post or Index Page inside the app to find available discount codes.

7. Where can I find the discount code for the e-book?

You’ll find it inside the Love, Manuela App:

  • Open the app and tap “Latest from Manuela” (the top post)

  • Or go to the Index Page. Please see the image here!

    There you’ll see the latest e-book offer with a special discount for app users.


8. Why do I need to give my phone number when signing up in the app?

Your phone number is used only for account security and recovery. It’s never used for marketing.

If you’d like it removed, just email us at support@lovemanuela.com and we’ll assist you.


9. The e-book won’t open on my phone. What should I do?

Some phones have restrictions that prevent PDF files from opening directly.

We recommend downloading the e-book first to a Mac, PC, iPad, or tablet. Once saved, you can transfer it to your phone if needed.


10. I purchased an e-book through a friend or on their device. How do I get access?

The download link is sent to the email used at checkout. Please ask your friend to forward the link to you.

If needed, contact us with the name of the person who purchased it, and we’ll help locate the order.


11. How do I get the latest recipes in the app?

To receive the newest recipes, simply open the app and tap the update button located at the top right corner of the Index Page. This will refresh your app content and ensure everything is up to date.
